Oh How He Loves Us

This afternoon Grandpa and Ya-Ya had quite the trip to the airport from Mini Yo We. Lots of traffic, they were even detoured off the 407 onto the 427 due to construction. Grandpa would phone me here in Tennessee and report that they were not going to make the flight home.

He would phone and then say that the highway opened up. Ya-Ya was praying in the seat next to him and I prayed here at home.

Once they arrived at the border the line for customs was backed up worse than he had ever seen it. Someone told him the back up would take at least an hour. He phoned me again to say they for sure would not make their 3:30 flight home but they would continue on to the airport and get tickets for tomorrow and go back and stay overnight at Rich and Christine's, as they had kindly offered.

I got off the phone and was led to pray "Lord please open a way for them as you did for Moses crossing the Red Sea". I could see in my mind cars moving out of the way. I thought as I finished praying, who do I think we are, we aren't Moses. Well, within 15 minutes Grandpa phoned to say that they were through customs that a man was directing one or two cars every once in a while to go into that special Nextel line, I think it is. Grandpa does not have that special Nextel pass, but they were allowed to pass hundreds, literally, of cars and got through and would indeed and did indeed make their plane with time to spare.

This afternoon showed us all very specifically again how God cares for us as individuals. About each small detail of our lives.

We give Him all praise and glory and thanks.

Grandma
