Time on My Hands

Today Tawny and his brother are here painting our Great Room and Kitchen. The colour is from Valspar from Lowes. We have always since forever been Benjamin Moore paint people but I am very pleased with this paint plus it was only $19.95 US a gallon compared to BM's $45!! We will need numerous gallons to complete this job.

So Mercy and I are stuck up in the Bonus room to stay out of their way. She would prefer to be down there helping out!

I went out this morning for a while and bought a place setting of dishes for the wedding we are going to this Saturday night here in Gallatin. Mercy slept in her kennel in our walk in closet while I was away.

Ya-Ya recovered from her busy weekend and picked up a 'special friend' in the process. The band did not arrive back at the high school until 2:15 Sunday morning. We let her sleep in on Sunday even though she did want to get up for church. We felt it best to let her rest.

It has been neat to see each of the boys new homes recently and to hear how well they are settling in. They are both very handy with electrical and carpenter jobs - something they have learned, been forced to learn on their own since becoming home owners.

It was always good to be around them before when they moved and grandpa especially, would help them, mainly hanging up all those pictures and shelves, etc. But they are doing excellent work now on their own. As we are here, on our own.

Make each day count with your loved ones. We never knew that we'd be here this time in our lives but as we say "If we HAD to move, Tennessee is a great place to live".

Your comments here are always welcomed and cherished!!
